I am a graduate from the BA (hons) Costume Design and Practice degree at Birmingham City University. I am currently a seasonal Wardrobe Assistant at Chichester Festival Theatre, working during the summer season as well as on their winter CFYT Christmas show. I absolutely love my job, working with new crew members and actors / performers everyday is a privilege and an amazing opportunity to gain experience and improve my skills for the future. I grew up as a very shy child and young adult and this job has allowed me to come out of my shell and be less shy and assert myself more. Working for Chichester Festival Theatre allows me to work in running wardrobe as well as making costumes.

As well as working in running wardrobe I also make costumes for cosplay and various theatre productions. When making for theatre I typically get given a design and pattern draft from there or embellish on top. With Cosplay, I take inspiration from the original character and pattern draft, make toiles and sew the final costume.

I also teach workshops and sewing lessons to young children. Watching their skills and confidence improve is the best thing and I love teaching them new sewing and pattern cutting skills.  ​
